Following the Government’s advice and in the interests of the safety and welfare of visitors, staff, students and the wider public, all events scheduled at the University of Birmingham will be either cancelled or postponed from 20th March until 1st June. In addition The Lord Chamberlain’s Men Theatre company have cancelled their performance of Macbeth, which was due on 26th June at Winterbourne House and Garden. We’ll continue to monitor the advice from FCO, WHO, PHE and government and work with event organisers to reschedule as many events as possible when it is safe to do so. For those booked onto any of these events we will be processing a full refund over the next week.

Murder on the Terrace

Join us for a spectacular evening of interactive who-dunnit as our friends Foghorn Unscripted bring to life a Murder Mystery with Winterbourne’s idyllic terrace as backdrop.

Visitors are welcome to arrive from 6pm, with Afternoon Tea served to your table. The performance will begin promptly at 7.30pm

Tickets are priced at £29.50 per person and include a delicious Winterbourne Afternoon Tea and entertainment. Guests are invited to dress the part in 1920s costume, but this is optional!

Please note:

  • Unlike our other evening entertainments, no picnics or alcohol can be brought in. The tea room is fully licensed and will be serving drinks before the performance and during the interval
  • This event is interactive and unpredictable! Whilst no one will be ‘singled out’ to participate, it’s worth noting that it is very much an interactive show
  • The event is for over 18s only due to the adult content
  • The event is outdoor but there is a wet-weather contingency plan should there be heavy rain or cold weather, but you should dress for outdoor weather regardless.
  • Diets and allergies can be catered for but please do email enquiries@winterbourne.org.uk with your dietary requirements after booking
